Hiring UX Designer

We’re looking for a talented UX designer to work with our team to host epic esports events. This is a freelance, fully-remote, project-based role with an estimated 10-15 hours of work per week.

UX Designer (Part-Time)

All of our freelance roles offer competitive compensation packages, flexible work schedules, on-job training and mentorship, and a minimum of 10% paid hours allocated to developing new skills through work related to our company.

Rally Cry was founded in 2020 to serve the millions of everyday gamers looking for a more organized way to connect, play, and compete with each other. We partner with organizations to engage their communities through games, from local game nights to some of the world's most exhilarating year-round esports leagues. As an Esports Manager, you’ll have the opportunity to work with a world class League Operations team at Rally Cry. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop UX mockups for Rally Cry platform features and new client instances of the Rally Cry platform, with support from our Lead Designer
  • Conduct UX Research surveys and case studies when relevant to new feature development
  • Work directly with lead designer(s) to create 2D designs for digital and merchandise, including but not limited to apparel and social media assets
  • Provide feedback and creative direction to Rally Cry vendors for broadcast, merchandise, and more
  • Develop 2D asset templates for new partners


  • 1-2 years relevant experience in 2D design or UI/UX design
  • Proficiency in raster editing software (i.e. Photoshop) and UX design software (i.e. Figma)
  • A keen sense of design and visual aesthetic


  • Prior experience working in or participating in the gaming or esports space
  • Experience with Figma and Adobe Illustrator
  • Experience working in small teams or startups
  • Experience working on component libraries and/or design systems
