Role Overview
The Community Partnerships Manager will serve as both the platform expert and the front-line relationship builder for Rally Cry’s clients and community organizers. This role combines account management, community outreach, and strategic execution to help our partners thrive using our platform. You’ll be the go-to point of contact, ensuring our partners have the tools, knowledge, and support to deliver exceptional competitive experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Platform Expertise & Onboarding
- Master Rally Cry’s platform features and serve as the subject-matter expert for clients and users.
- Lead onboarding for new clients and support transitions for existing partners.
- Client & Account Management
- Act as the day-to-day point of contact for partner organizations, ensuring smooth operations and excellent experiences.
- Gather and relay client feedback to inform product and platform improvements.
- Platform Needs & User Functionality
- Identify gaps or opportunities in platform functionality based on client and user needs.
- Collaborate with internal teams to refine tools and processes.
- Business Partnerships, Development & Outreach
- Lead outreach, selling, and onboarding of community organizers to the Rally Cry platform.
- Serve as Rally Cry’s ambassador for sponsorship execution and other growth opportunities.
- Collegiate & Community Strategy
- Develop and execute strategies for collegiate engagement and expansion.
- Drive owned & operated initiatives to build strong, sustainable communities within the platform.
Requirements
- 3+ years in community management, account management, or customer success roles.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Proven experience in outreach, business development, or partner engagement.
- Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple accounts/projects at once.
- Experience hosting, managing and administrating esports tournaments
Nice to Haves
- Background in gaming, esports, or collegiate athletics.
- Familiarity with sponsorship activation and partnership management.
- Experience with remote team collaboration tools and SaaS platforms.
- Extensive network within the esports industry with players, talent, publishers and third parties.
