Earlier this year, we joined a coalition of gaming companies called Gamers for CHOC, alongside companies like Amazon Game Studios and Riot Games, to support the Children’s Hospital of Orange County (CHOC).

Gamers for CHOC’s mission is to rally employees, players, community members, and gaming-related businesses to raise funds to provide support for CHOC’s research, education, and health-care programs — which serve over 250,000 children and families annually in Southern California. Like us, Gamers for CHOC believes that gaming can be a force for good, and we’re grateful to be a part of a cause that aligns with our values.

This year, we’re also supporting a friend who was personally affected through CHOC. In 2010, Miranda received a life-threatening diagnosis and required immediate surgery. Thanks to CHOC’s incredible team of specialists and physicians, she made a full recovery and is currently pursuing a career in the medical field. Today, Miranda proudly gives back to the CHOC community every year through programs like CHOC Walk to represent the many patients today who are still fighting for their lives.
